I am 66 years old (to be updated every 23 March!) and married to Inga. We have two children (girls) Lica Nørby and Dorte Gregersen Nørby. Lica is married to Bo Salling Johansen and they have two children: Casper Salling Nørby (boy - click on his name!) born on 23 September 1995 and Liv Salling Nørby (girl) born on 5 April 1998. Dorte lives together with her boy friend Morten Mørk with whom she has two children: Nanna Gregersen Mørk born on 22 March 2000 - and the last grandchild on 26 January 2003, 9.55 AM Dorte gave birth to Emil Gregersen Mørk (that's a boy's name!).

I am a retired Electrical Engineer - I am also educated as a mechanic. I retired on 1 April 2003 so now I hope to get more time for my family and all my hobbies!

I would like to tell you what I am doing in my retirement. I am a member of the Danish Philatelic Federation (After eight years "on board" I retired in 1996). Further, I am also a member of The Danish Postal History Society (And here - after 11 years "on board" I retired in 1999) and I mainly (surprise, surprise) study Danish Postal History. Since 1977.01.28 I have served as a Danish juror and since 1987 as a F.I.P. (Federation Internationale de Philatelie) accredited juror (Traditional Philately). Now I have retired from both positions as I on 2007.01.31 has served as a Danish juror for 30 years - it's time to leave and let the youngsters take over :-)

FIP Literature Commission
I retired as a member of the board of FIP's Literature Commission in 2008 but I invite you to take a look at our activities on our homepage.

Danish Postal History and Philately
Actually, I have a lot to tell you about Danish Postal History and Philately. For example, the Danish flag you see to the left of my picture is what we in Denmark call a "Postflag", which is a "Splitflag" with the logo of the Danish General Post Office in the upper left red square. This "Postflag" is mostly used by ships in regular postal service. The logo below is the old GPO logo used before World War Two. I'll tell you the story of the GPO logo and the Danish "Postflag" some time in the future!

So, until then - please enjoy what I continuously since 1995.08.01 have tried to "pollute" the web space with:
